The story catches up with Nica (Fiona Dourif) at an institute for the criminally insane, where she has been locked away for the last 4 years. She is convinced that she killed her entire family, not the psychopathic Good Guy doll.
Nica’s therapist is now trying out a new form of therapy on his patients, and it just so happens to coincidentally be centered around a fresh faced Good Guy doll. When a string of murders starts to take place around the doll, Nica starts to realize shes not so crazy after all.
Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) is all grown up now, and rushes to Nica’s aid. To save her he’ll have to contend with Chucky’s former bride Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly). Though they are no longer together, Tiffany is still hopelessly devoted to the serial killer doll from your worst nightmares.
