Jettomero: Hero of the Universe
Meet Jettomero, a clumsy self-aware giant robot that awoke in a strange comic-like universe.
Jettomero wakes up in a beautifully drawn universe unsure of his origins. He seems to be conscious, intelligent, and a pretty nice guy. Hes very wobbly on his new skinny legs, and doesn’t mean to occasionally destroy the landscape.

After exploring the planet he wakes up on the gigantic robot decides to explore the universe to figure out his purpose, and blasts off into the cosmos. As he explores from planet to planet he finds assorted parts that are purely cosmetic, and finds fuel to aide in his journey through the stars.
While exploring planets he pieces together pieces of the story. Not to far into the game I encountered my first giant monster, and had a cool Godzilla like fight. I realized I had laser-beam vision, and obliterated my foe.
Once you explore each quadrant of the procedurally generated universe you have to find wormholes that will teleport you to the next galaxy. Cruising through space is a pleasant experience as you aim for the fuel cells and enjoy the down-tempo sci-fi soundtrack.
Jettomero: Hero of the Universe is such an amazing laid back game. The artwork is beautiful, and the original soundtrack is super-chill. I’ve never played a game quite like this, so when I started off all wobbly legged I wasn’t sure how cool it would be. I didn’t have to play long before I fell in love with the game.
The majority of the games I play are fast paced, so its nice to come across a game that’s laid back and I can casually enjoy. This game is very relaxing, while at the same time you can’t wait to see where the story goes. The battles require a bit of fast paced button tapping, but the system is very easy to get down.
I really don’t think I can find any bad point about what I’ve played of the game. After around an hour of game-play I knew that this game was great, and couldn’t wait to put together this review.
