Cyclist in Philadelphia prepared to gear-down for The 9th Annual Philly Naked Bike Ride
The North East is full of wild events, but the biggest head turner is the Philly Naked Bike Ride. This odd event is a very real thing, and is scheduled to kickoff on September 9, 2017.
If you’ve never heard of the Philly Naked Bike Ride then just the concept is a shocker. Every year open minded residents of Philadelphia really take to the streets naked on bicycles. Wieners are flopping around everywhere!

Its truly a site to behold as a parade of mostly nude people of every kind merrily roll down the streets on bikes, skateboards and roller-skates. The City of Brotherly Love’s streets are filled with smiling faces and people having fun. Philadelphia resents who run across the event on accident are always shocked, and sometimes appalled.
“Join us on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 for the 9th Annual Philly Naked Bike Ride! We’re taking the streets again to promote a Clean Earth, Concious Fuel Consumption, Cycling Advocacy, and Body Positivity! We ride at 5pm. Follow us here, and on social media for more details as they become available.” Stated on the PNBR official website.
On the PNBR Facebook Fan Page they stated:
“We don’t normally get political at PNBR, but given the current state of things, we want to tell you what we do stand for. We assume that if you’re a fan of our event, you’re an open minded person, who sees the beauty in themselves and in others. We welcome all genders, races, colors, and creeds, to ride with us to support the advocacy of cycling, a healthy earth, and the beauty in all of us. We love you, and we can’t wait to ride with you again! 9/9/17 5 PM.”
The meet up location this year will not be released until 24 hours before they ride. All we know so far is that take off is scheduled for 5pm est., Sept 9, 2017. If your interested in joining the ride you can follow on the PNBR website or their social media pages.
