Sony Reducing The Price Of PlayStation VR Bundle
Sony Announces Plans To Lower The Price of it PlayStation VR Hardware.
Last year Sony launched the PlayStation VR with no accessories for $399.99 USD. Recently the company announced that it will be releasing a bundle that includes the VR Headset along with the PlayStation Camera for $399.99 USD, and $499.99 in Canada on September 1, 2017.
The normal going rate for the PlayStation Camera is $59.99 USD, though some retailers sell it for cheaper. You can consider this a retail value savings of $59.99, but you will still need a Motion Controller to complete the setup.
Sony’s current bundle which includes the PlayStation Virtual Reality Headset, PlayStation Camera, a pair of PlayStation Move Controllers, and a physical copy of PlayStation VR Worlds costs $499 USD now. It will be reduced to $449 USD as well on Sept 1, 2017.

Though the concept of Virtual Reality has been around nearly since the birth of video games, its still the new guy in the gaming market. If your a PlayStation fan then going with the PS VR is probably a no brainer. If your an open minded gamer you may want to weigh out your option before jumping into an impulsive purchase. There are several other options when it comes to Virtual Reality like the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Gear VR, and the long awaited HoloLens.
