Everyone’s favorite cops are back (by popular demand) with the long anticipated follow up to the cult comedy classic: Super Troopers 2.
When the United States and Canada get into a dispute about the location of the actual border, the Super Troopers – Mac, Thorny, Foster, Rabbit and Farva – are called in to set up a new Highway Patrol station in the contested area. Our heroes quickly revert to their own brand of unconventional police work.
16 years after the original, Broken Lizard is coming back to theaters with Super Troopers 2. This time the Super Troop is charged with running a Highway Patrol station during a border dispute between the U.S. and Canada. The film stars Rob Lowe and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
Broken Lizard ran a crowd-funding campaign for ST2 on Indiegogo in 2015. They surpassed their goal of $2 million, and ended the campaign with $4.5 million.
“Super Troopers 2” will hit theaters on April 20, 2018.
